JOB SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for the electro/mechanical assembly of products to support current production lines and/or sales orders for the field service organization. Operators will be crossed trained between product lines and must follow all operator instructions along with strict adherence to the Quality System.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Adhere to all Hill-Rom Essential Safety Principles.
Adhere to all Quality System Standards.
Accurately assemble complex electrical and mechanical assemblies utilizing verbal instructions, written Operator Instructions, engineering drawings and boundary samples.
Assemble products within established operator cycle times.
Test components and complete assemblies using calibrated test and measuring equipment.
Prepare required written documentation, i.e. Product Acceptance Records, Nonconforming Material Reports.
Assist in on-the-job training of other employees.
Participate in Safety, Quality, Cost and Delivery improvements.
SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position has no supervisory responsibility.
