Position Summary
JOB SUMMARY: The Account Manager in Home Care/Extended Care is primarily responsible for selling Hill-Rom products to clients. Additionally, the Account Manager is responsible to work collaboratively with internal partners, to develop and implement comprehensive strategic territory plans for all Hill-Rom products, programs and services. Manage clinical and financial aspects of the account to provide ultimate customer satisfaction.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Meet or exceed all sales revenue goals and enhance total customer value.
• Manage/maintain/grow current business, prospect new opportunities to generate new accounts for Hill-Rom
• Develop a forecast and implement a business plan for territory sales plans and marketing strategies
• Drive generation of new product demands through multiple processes
• Responsible for financial and clinical management in all Post Acute Care accounts through utilization of outcome based tools to support clinical and financials solutions.
• Establish a keen understanding and the ability to communicate Hill-Rom’s competitive differentiation to enhance sales and convert competitive accounts.
• Execute corporate strategies in assigned regional, national and managed care accounts to ensure company vision.
• Demonstrate cooperative teamwork with all Hill-Rom colleagues to achieve overall objective of the Area and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Report regularly on current rental revenue trends, conversion status and competitive issues to your Director
• Understand and manage utilization and revenue reports.
• Support territory and regional on-call coverage to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Timely processing of referrals and placements to ensure payment is received for Home Care customers
• Detailed attention to paperwork needed for referrals and placements for processing Home Care customers
• Participate in territory product deliveries.
• Other duties may be assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum of three years sales experience with proven track record
• Excellent presentation skills
• Moderate computer literacy
• Microsoft Office experience
• Must be able to work independently and in team environment
• Must be willing to travel overnight
• Exceptional Communication Skills
• Outstanding planning and organization skills
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
• Associates Degree required
• Prefer Bachelors Degree or RN
• Prefer clinical background
• Healthcare/medical experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; analytical problem-solving skills
